The Pôle des Langues et des Civilisations (Languages and Civilizations Hub), gathers the University of Languages and Civilizations and the Languages Library. The building evolves alongside the Rue des Grands Moulins and plays with the contrasted topography of the site, multiplying typologies and different volume scales.  The project includes an auditorium, classrooms, specialized workshops, offices and meeting rooms, lecture theaters and a storehouse, constituting a building of about 60 metres long. A garden, open to visitors during the day, links the hub with the Armée du Salut de Le Corbusier.

The plan associates a patio, a linear garden, planted-rooftops and patios. The brick, the unique material, unifies it all. The building is thick. The strong thermal inertia of the structure is the main energy-saving tool.
