The Massena-Bruneseau district is located at the limits of Paris and Ivry-sur-Seine. The project develops a new relationship between Paris and its suburbia by crossing the ring road, the metaphorical demarcation line. New roads are proposed. The place Farhat Hached, at the end of the Avenue de France opens onto Ivry-sur-Seine. The Paris-Ivry path, which goes underneath the ring road thanks to the reconfiguration of its slips roads, joins the dynamic student district of Paris VII to the Activity hub of Ivry’s harbour and liberates building lands. Consequently, new high buildings can be built around the ring road. In the end, more than 500 000 sqm of offices, housing, shops and activities are proposed.
